The Serbian language is a Slavic language within the Indo-European family of languages. Like Bosnian, Croatian and Montenegrin, it is based on the Shtokavian dialect, which is the most widespread dialect of Serbo-Croatian. This is why Serbian, Bosnian, Croatian and Montenegrin speakers can understand each other without difficulties. Apart from Standard Serbian, which is based on the Shtokavian dialect, there is also the Torlakian dialect spoken in the southeastern part of Serbia, and which is a transitional dialect to Bulgarian and Macedonian. With our team of experienced, bilingual
